Our Service Dog Candidate Evaluation is designed to assess your current dog’s temperament, behaviour, confidence, and overall potential for service training.
Service dogs require far more than basic obedience — they must be calm, stable, adaptable, and capable of working reliably in a variety of public environments.
Through twelve (one-hour sessions) private or small group training options-you will build the skills you and your dog need to move through life with confidence. Training begins at the Cross Roads Animal Health Center and then we will progress to taking our dogs to more community-based activities such as walking trails and visiting stores.
Our 12-Week Group Public Access Program is designed for service dog teams looking to build reliable public access skills in a structured group environment. Dogs and handlers work alongside other teams while practicing obedience, neutrality, confidence, and real-world manners in a variety of public settings. Group classes help improve focus around distractions while building strong handler communication and control.
Our 12-Week Private Public Access Program offers one-on-one training tailored specifically to your dog, lifestyle, and service goals. This personalized program focuses on advanced obedience, public manners, neutrality, and confidence in real-world environments while allowing for individualized support and customized training plans at your dog’s pace.
